Gay friendly hotels in Copenhagen

...wouldn’t be ecstatic...
This is the only true gay sauna in Copenhagen and is accessed through an arch off Studiestræde and is located in what was probably an old warehouse building. The entrance is on the 1st floor where the reception/bar (with free internet access), changing rooms, sauna, the main shower area and steam room are situated. (In September 2010 these showers and the steam room were out of commission due to renovation work.)

On the 2nd and 3rd floors there are various cubicles (some with glory holes), porno rooms, mazes, sling rooms etc. together with further showers and toilets.

The entrance costs 100kr (September 2010) and you can pay a re-entry fee of further 40kr to go out and come back.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the clientele are of all ages. Generally the sauna seems to be busy after lunchtime on weekdays and then again at about 20:00 onwards in the evenings. The weekends are busy most of the time with a bit of a lull in the late afternoons.

I wouldn’t be ecstatic about this place and it could be improved in many ways with a little thought - still it is the only full time true gay sauna in Denmark!
