The Ponds are not quite wh...
The Ponds are not quite what they used to be in the "good old days"! Instead of being able to spread out naked on the concrete, the nude bathers are now subjected to being squashed-up within an enclosed area of about one quarter of the available space. Still it can be a pleasant experience, packed like sardines ;)

The Ponds have always been a friendly spot to spend a hot summer's day and you can cool off by having a swim with the ducks (BUT in swimming trunks) and taking an invigorating cold shower after! A high proportion of the bathers are older, but get there early on a nice day to grab the best spots.

Overground Line to Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak or No 214 bus from Kings Cross with an invigorating climb up the hill.
