Through the roof? Bs!
Ok, first off, beautiful place. I have never seen such a nice gay sauna in anywhere in the world I've been.

Now, to the second. The place needs to serious clue on what times to operate on. Closes at 10:30 PM on weeends? You're kidding me!? That's not world class, at all. This place should be open 24/7 or at least late on weekends.

The last point, and this is the big one, is there are way too many white dudes there, OLD OLD OLD white dudes. I mean hunched backs, can barely walk types. This, obviously, the sauna can't control, but I'm warning you like other's have warned you.
Overall, seemed like people were mainly into doing laps around the place, which was a turn off. I went to another sauna in Silom that's opened till 6:00 AM and had almost immediate fun....Granted, the place pales in comparison and their towels are nasty, but the guys are pretty cute and they're there for one thing only, SEX.

I suppose I can see why this reviewer is "anonymous" - A blatant ageist! What does he want the Babylon Management to do - Ban everyone over the age of 30?

I expect that it closes at these times as the majority of the clients want to hit the clubs and bars or go to bed. I am sure if there was a demand for longer hours the management would certainly cater for it.

Good, but my last visit was in 2004
I had a great time there, but as this was maybe my first sauna experience, I didn't get the maximum out of it. Anyway, what a decor, with elephants and caryatids in stone, in a lush green setting. There was a show, very decent and an enterprising Thai caught my attention. As always, middle class, chinese roots and a bit too fat, but terribly hot.
Two days later, I went back and found a more ethnic guy, better looks, slim and muscled.
But how it looks these days, no idea.

too many farang?
Lately there are quite a few reviews that Babylon-indeed a sauna of worldwide fame- is having more farang=white tourists visiting as there are Thai. During Chinese holidays-notably around Chinese New year-many, many Chinese visit-from Taiwan, Singapore etc. Just do not say you have not been warned!

through the roof!
i love going to this place everything i'm in bkk. there's a dark room/cruising area, steam room, which is very nice. it's very clean, and is always packed. the hotel rooms are very nice as well. i didn't appreciate the older white dudes trying to continually have unprotected sex.
