Small but very good
Have visited many times, usually around lunchtime. Sometimes rather quiet but usually enough guys in to make it worthwhile. Very clean, and pleasant staff. Good mix by age, race and looks. Large jacuzzi with water at good temperature. Would benefit from a masseur available.

A really good experience
Really cool. Plenty of steaming in the hot rooms, cooling off in the showers before some awsome experience in the open 'group' room and a nicely intimate finish in the cinema area being 'helped out' in front of the porn. Highly recommended!

too small
The place is tiny! you can literally walk around it in 2 minutes!

The steam rooms are hot at the top and freezing cold when you sit down, leaving your towel totally sodden!

The jacuzzi is lovely and hot with plenty of bubbles and sauna is great and hot.

The "cruising rooms" are ok nothing special, not keen on the glory hole area bit of an after thought.

Generally its really clean, tidy and maintained to a very high standard, if you exclude the steam room. I shan't be in any rush to go back especially midweek.

1st timer.
went in, paid 11 quid, swiftly into changing rooms,

by this time i was already impressed with the free sandals and towel in my locker!

saw a chinese lad, n thought yh im having that.

great steam rooms, good showers, alot of voyeurs, but i have to say a good mix of sizes and shapes, it was my first time, and talked to another man when we were alone, walked around about 5 times but stuck to the steam room that i felt comfortable in, no pressures at all, everyone was quite reserved,

few toilet visits to look at my body and pour water over my head, and then through the bar area and back into the unknown, lol

too many south indian guys for my liking but then wait, i see a white man doing the O.R.A.L infront of me! the guy moves off, i sit down, get my turn, and i whisper "are you bottom" he says yh, we swiftly move to the private rooms i discovered earlier, get my moneys worth, and by now im sauned out, iv come, and im happy to shower and go home ! lol

good stuff

What it is, gay sauna with action
Went there on a Saturday, arrived about 3pm ish. Walked into entrance pressed bell and was buzzed straight through, friendly at reception.

All on one floor, with a sauna, couple of steam rooms and a jacussi.

Very clean and spacious.

Also an area off to the back with glory holes sling, private rooms and group rooms. Looked as if one was a cinema, but if it was nothing was playing. When I got there this whole area was so dark that I had difficulty finding my way around and was constantly rubbing up against people I could not see were there. Maybe this was the idea.

Good mix of guys, all ages and races, all sizes. Not difficult to attract someones attention and then it is up to you.

Only reservation was how dark it was, even in the steam rooms and sauna it was so dark that you could hardly see if anyone else was in there let alone wether you fancied them. Up side of this was that it got so you didn't care, so maybe thats a plus. Strangely towards the later evening, as i was leaving, someone switched the lights on. Maybe someone had complained about being interfered with in the dark :-)

Will be going back at some point, but as I live in leicester can't be as often as I would like.

Looking to visit
I must say I am really interested in visiting on the evening of Monday the 10 sept as in brum for work but a little worried going in on my own especially if quiet. I have never been in a place like his before but am really turned on by the idea. I am 31 do any people go in around my age? I am very submissive (but not very camp) and am looking for fun. Group would be great with lots of cock for me o suck etc. if anyone ound help or guide me through that wld b great. Mark

I wonder what time people go there
I went there on a friday evening. It was very quiet . with only 5 people including me.. and many of them are over 50
the most good looking is the staff but they are not playing with customers and maybe not gay
it was a boring place but clean n tidy

ruddest ever receptionist ive seen
I was passing the sauna so i decided to stop and make an enquiry for next time i passed i may wanted to visit in the future. I went up the alarmed door and it was shut for 5 min . As i noticed that there was CCTV inside it looked like the reception didnt want to let me in. He was very rude and a bad manner in the way he spoke to me. All i asked was prices and what are facilities and extra charges if they are any, the staff seem to be rude on first impressions, i wont be visiting, nor will i waste my money here, there are better places out there, I really did take affense to the way the staff spoke to md

Mr Anonymous seems to be the only peson who has written reviews on Unit 2 to have a bad word to say on the place. Many of the other reviews have commented on the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff!

Perhaps he just was unlucky, but I would suggest on such occasions that he telephones the manager or sends an email, instead of writing such a damning review.

Lovely place and nice guys too!
I always come here when I'm in Birmingham. It's very clean and the only place I know that loans out sandals. There's a nice jacuzzi and other facilities... No attitude just a mix of horny men looking for you know what It's within the gay village and next to Chinatown. And the Birmingham CBD is within walkable distance. I love spending weekends in Birmingham!

A clean, modern sauna with friendly and helpful staff. My visit was on a Thursday evening when there was a varied but very active clientelle, with a good throughput of all ages and races. The "rest rooms" were kept busy with plenty of action both one on one and group action. I experienced some great group action in one of the steam rooms.
A good range of refeshments and snacks were available at reasonable prices. A good supply of lube and condoms as well as spare towels were available.
A great evening and excellent value for money. I look forwrd to a return visit.

..spotlessly clean...
Unit 2 is in Birmingham's gay "village" and is situated in a modern building and has been very well designed all on the ground floor. There are 2 steam rooms, sauna, Jacuzzi, Porno cinema, darkroom and cubicles.

The premises are spotlessly clean and the staff welcoming and helpful. This is the only sauna that I have come across in the UK which loans sandals! The clientèle is of mixed ages and ethnicity.

There is plenty of on-street parking close-by.

Well worth a visit!
